uCEthernet Code Download
Here is the source code for the uCEthenet project. It has been written using
Rowley CrossWorks for ARM ver 1.6. The projects have been setup to run on the
Olimex 2106 prototyping board and the
uCEthernet PCB.
- ENC28J60 Test Code
- Telnet App using uIP 1.0 with ENC28J60
To witness the code in action from a Windows PC you can open up a telnet client
from within windows (It not very exciting but it proves the concept). The image
below shows you what you should be seeing if you open up a connection through
the windows command prompt.
To start a session from windows:
1) Open up a command prompt from windows and select run from the start menu.
2) Type cmd to get the command prompt up.
3) Type Telnet ucethernet.no-ip.biz and press return.
That's it. You should now be connected to the Telnet server running on the
Olimex board. I have yet to do something useful with it...I just dont get the
time.
Occasionally the server maynot be working. This is usually because my partner
has unplugged it to use the hoover!! Its never normally down for more than a
day but if it is let me know so I can find the source of the problem.
I hope to, in the not too distant future, implement a http server as
its easier to access and nicer to look at. In the mean time if anybody else
manages to do this before me I would be happy to place the code on this page,
give you the credit and add a link to you web page.
If you do use any of my code for business or pleasure, please feel free to
donate. It may possibly justify the time spent upstairs away from fantastically
patient wife...
